Fred Martin told us we qualified for a car for 20,000. Due to our credit problems we were told they had found us a lender. They let me pick between two cars. A jeep patriot, white or one in red. The white was cheaper and it had less miles. Both 2010's. We had a rental as I had totaled my car. After we picked the white one we had our daughter take the rental back home.

When I went in there I had a coupon for a free first aid kit, but was told they didn't have anymore. I also had a coupon for 300.00 off. Well the guy added the 300 dollars and then subtracted it. I went up 3 times as they have a 3 day return option. They then gave me the option of the white patriot or a mustang convertable. All the while I have a broken back and just wanted to get home. I asked if I could take the mustang home for the night and was told no as they had already give me an extra day. Whichever I chose was mine and no turning back..Well, I drove home in the white patriot.

They also had me write two checks, knowing we had no money in the bank. One for a thousand dollars and the other for fifteen hundred dollars and said they wouldn't cash them until 9/2. I felt uneasy about that but we had to have a car. We had told them we needed our payments between four hundred or 450.00. Well when the paperwork was all done our payments were 548.00 per month.

Well, we needed the car and I have to have both knees replaced so I needed room for my rollanator so we went with it. My husband took off work to sign the papers. Well we drove the car home. I am worrying about the payments so high and keep thinking but we need a car. Today we got a call from Fred Martin. They told us the lender refused to finance the car and I am to return the car immediately. After spending four days there, not that happy with the suv, but it is all I have I couldn't believe they wanted me to bring it right to them.
Well needless to say I had no way to take the car to them, and by the way they made us drive it home empty, and no way to get home so I didn't take it back. And they still had our checks. Now they are gonna charge us to have a truck pick up the car. They are liars and scammers. Don't ever do business with them.
