I received a call from a "Robin Wilson" at (310) 742-3854. They said I was approved for a loan up to 10,000 and they were from "Cash Net USA". I started to go along with the call, because I need the extra cash at this time. But soon after I became very cautious because I did not remember applying for a loan with this company and it seemed too easy. I said I would call back and I researched this company online. I called the 800 # and they told me I did submit an application (long time ago) but I was declined. This is obviously a scam.

Hi! I am an official representative of CashNetUSA and I can tell you that this phone call did not come from us. You were right to be wary. We're glad to hear that you went with your gut and didn't become a victim of a scam using our name to lend itself legitimacy. In addition, CashNetUSA employs responsible lending practices and follows all laws and regulations in each state we lend in. In California, where I see you're from, our maximum loan amount is $255.00. And in NO state do we offer $10,000 or anywhere near that.
I'd like to encourage anyone who receives a call like this to hang up immediately and phone CashNetUSA at 888.801.9075 to report this incident so that we can share it with authorities. Remember to never give out any personal details.
