I purchased a Mossy Oak 1200 watt generator from Sportsman Guide. Prior to my purchase I viewed a video on Sportsman Guide's web site showing a man using the generator having a small TV plugged into the generator. I then watched a video on You Tube showing a man with a lap top computer plugged into the generator. I thought wow, this is just what I need. When the generator came the instruction book states in several places, but on the front it states: "This generator must not be used to power portable electronics such as TVs, DVD players, games, computers, etc. . . This will cause damage to the electronics and damage capacitors in the generator, disabiling its ability to produce power." The instructions say to not return to store. Says to call American Warranty Service with issues. Called them and they referred me to Mossy Oak. Mossy Oak representatives take no responsibility.
