On August 16th, 2011, my husband received a phone call from Lipenwald Inc (aka New England Mint). They thanked him for his purchase and told them they were sending him a free gift. He had not ordered anything and told them that. The next day August 17th, 2011, a charge in the amount of $62.92 appeared on our bank statement. I immediately called the bank and reported this transaction. We called Lipenwald and told them of our situation. They said they would credit us back the money right away , however; the charge still appears on our account two days later. I called them again today and now they told us they had already shipped the item out and we would have to refuse delivery. I have no idea what they are sending us and we are very upset about this scam. I see there are other people going through this also. I am going to report this to many other agencies and let everyone know what a scam this company is trying to pull on innocent people.
