Responded to an ad on Craigslist for "Novice Stockroom Employees" in the west Atlanta area, asking for more info, like where it was. In the response it says "As mentioned in the posting", well, nothing was mentioned in the posting, which is why I wanted more info. This thing kinda reeked from the beginning, and when I got this email, I knew it was a scam! I have never heard of registering a debit card before I can get an interview, so I tried researching the company and the link, and all I came up with were similar names on this site. This is a scam. Here is the email I received in response to my request for more info:

My name is Jessenia Penkins and I’m the senior staffing coordinator at 1s Systems,LLC.

I am pleased to inform you that you are being extended a tentative offer of employment for the available warehouse position within our company.

As mentioned in the posting, this position pays a competitive salary, plus benefits, and also provides potential to earn both pay increases and growth opportunities into supervisory and management positions. We are taking on new employees rapidly at this time, and are willing to make you an employment proposal, provided that you comply with the rest of the enrollment provisions.

This is a full-time position. Based on your previous experience and physical ability, you will be working either inside the warehouse in packing and shipping, outside on the truck-loading team, or operating a forklift. These jobs vary in pay as well as physical and mental demands. Your initial salary will be based on your experience level, as well as the results of your preliminary strength and logic aptitude exams. Some experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred, but not essential, as fully paid training will be given if necessary.

As of 6 months ago direct deposit or payroll checks are integrated in to our standard payroll process but you will receive a pay-stub every week. In the last few years we had too many employees complain about not having a bank account or having issues cashing their checks, so we decided to make a change and we've had a lot less problems with payroll in the last 6 months.

Our company is not affiliated with the company that provides this re-loadable card; it can be used just like a regular debit card that you can fund at your convenience online or over the phone. You can withdraw your money at any ATM without fees or pay bills online, it's basically as good as cash. Think of it almost like a debit card that can't overdraft like a bank account and charge you ridiculous fees.
