I recently checked my mobile phone bill and realised I had a lot of Payforit charges on my account which totalled £28.80 ($44). I was charged on the following dates:

4 on 29/05/2012 at 15:43 = £8 (£9.60 inc VAT)
4 on 05/06/2012 at 15:44 and 15:45 = £8 (£9.60 inc VAT)
4 on 12/06/2012 at 15:46 = £8 (£9.60 inc VAT)

From the 15/06/2012 = £28.80

19/06/2012 at 15:48 = £8 (£9.60 inc VAT)
26/06/2012 at 15:50 = £8 (£9.60 inc VAT)
03/07/2012 at 15:51 = £8 (£9.60 inc VAT)

These were all at the same time, which puzzled me. I phoned Orange who said it was a company called Ericsson who were charging me. I was given a contact number if 01483305530. I called them and they stated they were only the billing company and I had to call another company called Ordanduu on 08443850012. The advisor who handled my call was extremely rude and proceeded to talk over me. I explained I have never heard of the website, nor would I ever put my phone number into a website like that. He finally agreed to cancel my "subscription" and I was told there would be no further charges. And stated that if I wanted a refund I would have to email [email protected], which I have done. So hopefully something good will come of that email. I think companies like this need to be stopped, as they are taking a ridiculous amount of money from consumers like myself who have never subscribed to their services.
