I decided to try DermaPure based on a testimonial and the trial price of $4.95. The promotional pkg. said that it was a 10 day free trial, but its actually a 15 days (they add the 5 extra days for shipping). The order was shipped on 6/15/12. I received it on 6/23/12. That meant I only had 5 days to try the product before I had to decide to keep it, or return it. I had consulted with my Dermatologist before I had even received DermaPure. He recommended a far less expensive option which I will be starting in July. So with that in mind, I decided that I would chalk this experience up to lessons learned. I was expecting the DermaPure to arrive around 6/19-6/20. Wrong. I didn't receive it until 6/23/12. With my mind already made up, all I needed was the RMA(Return Merchandise Authorization Number)and send it back. I tried calling to get the RMA, but I basically lived on hold numerous times. I finally did get the RMA today, but ironically, today was the day they withdrew the $79.99 from my account. The customer service person I spoke to told me that they would send me a refund when they received their product back. BOTTOM LINE: Its very easy to order, but beware. Once they have your information, you will get multiple calls for other "special offers". If I don't receive my refund in a timely manner, I will bring in my lawyer. One of their practices is, I'm pretty sure, not quite legit. I was driving on an Interstate Highway when I received a call for one of their "special offers". I don't remember exactly what product they were peddling, but i do remember that the offer included a $120.00 gas card or certificate that would be "yours regardless if you kept the other item". I told them I was driving on a busy highway, in Tropical Storm conditions and that I didn't have my Visa card with me. They were very insistent that they could wait while I pulled over and whatnot. Then they told me that they had my card #. If I could guess the numbers, they could proceed with the transaction. Just to see how that would work, I proceeded to throw out some #'s. They would say, "ok, well you got the 4 and the 2 right, so lets try again." Basically, I could've sat there for as long as it took and with their help, without my card, I could've placed an order. Does that sound legitimate to anyone? I did not proceed. I said thanks but no thanks and hung up. I know my story was very long-winded and I apologize. I just needed to vent my frustrations!!! It is my opinion which is based on my experience with the DermaPure company that I would STRONGLY advise against doing business with them. ; ) Lisa D., New Port Richey,FL
