Just wanted to warn other people! Read this if you received mail from someone posing as "Global Test Market" with a check inside.
They're saying you've been selected to become a Mystery Shopper, yadda yadda, and it's wrong. I've done deep search into this, and realized this is 100000000% a scam.

Signs:
1) No return address, and a Canadian postage on the front. Problem with that being, the letter inside claims to be a business in Stamford, CT. So there would be U.S. Postage on the front, not Canadian.
2) Stamford, CT, area codes are either 203, or 475. The area codes for the numbers listed in this letter are 647, or, 416. During my research on line, the BBB stated that those area codes are for Canadian cell phones.
3) They're demanding you have a checking account and that you cannot use a prepaid account. That is because it is a bad check, and once it is fully processed, the check is going to bounce. Your bank will remove the funds, and the person you "moneypak'd" that 720 dollars to or whatever amount they are telling you to, will have already cashed it and you will be screwed out of said amount on the check.
4) If you google the address (1351 Washington Blvd. Suite 5000 Stamford, CT) and view it through the satellite view, you can see that the office building for that listing is a medical one, with an ophthalmology office, an "Optimus Health Care" office, and one or two more doctors/health offices listed. Why would that building be home of the corporate office of Global Test Market, one of the bigger names in ONLINE surveys? It wouldn't be. BBB Also stated that they tried to send a request of background information letter TO said address and they got it right back in the mail, and the Postal Service said they couldn't forward it to that address.. It's all fishy.

None of this is real, don't fall for it for a second!

Also, I can assure you, this is NOT Global Test Market. They have good reviews for the actual business they do, through their ONLINE surveys and testing. This is probably just some broke Canadian scam artist trying to pull a quick one on as many in-need-of-some-serious-cash-flow-Americans he possibly can.
