I have received calls in the past as well as letters stating that I have a debt with AT&T for over $100.00 or more. When I try to tell them that I do not owe AT&T nor Southwestern Bell Telephone Services, they argue me down that I do. T have also receive bills in the mail from them containing false information. What they are doing is trying to collect on old bills that have been settled for years.

- I had the exact same thing happen! Guy from Asseet Acceptance called with a Hindu accent calling himself Aaron Snyder, telling me I had this bill from 2000 that I didn't recognize. He argued with me repeatedly, telling me that the burden of proof was on me, and that if I didn't want to pay this bill then I had to prove it wasn't my account. When I informed him several times that A-if you want me to pay then you need to prove it's my account, and B-that I see his company had an A+ rating from BBB, he said I'd receive a letter of intent to collect from his company and be legally obligated to pay. As of today, several months later, not only have I not received such a letter, but I see no entry other than inquiry on my credit from them, and nothing removed from my bank account. This company is a HUGE scam, do not give them any information or payment!
