I received a notice, that Management would be in my residence on the 28th of May. That day I stayed home, so that I can be there when they were in my apartment. The notice only stated that they would be in my residence on the 28th of May. When the maintenance man were leaving he stated that HH Gregg would not be bringing the new appliances in until the next day. So, on the 29th of May I had to do some running around town and forgot to take the security bar off the door. Management of The Lakes of Brice, Canal Winchester called me and told me that they couldn't get in because of the security bar being on the door. That's when I told management that I would be back home in 20 minutes. But on my return home, I noticed that the HH Gregg truck was in front of my residence. When I proceeded through the garage, I noticed that my residence was already occupied, with both HH Gregg employees and the maintenance man. After entering my residence, I've noticed that I had received a call from management. Upon checking the voicemail, management stated that they had to break the security bar to enter my residence. What kind of stuff is that? It seems like my rights as a tenant have been violated. How can management just break in my residence without my permission? I'm going to be looking into what legal actions I can take to keep this from happening to someone else. So, if this complaint can be resolved with the corporate office, it would be greatly appreciated.
