We are a family of 6 struggling financially to try to make it in today's economy. I have not been able to secure employment for almost a year. My husband is a disable Veteran from the first Gulf War. Recently, due to our meager income we have been falling behind on our bills. Our credit has become less than worthy, forcing me to apply for payday loans rather than an unsecured personal loan to get caught up. The scam that all the websites are running is a joke to begin with because they just keep referring you to another lender who guarantees you up to 1500.00 but never actually gives it to you. Instead they pass you to another list of "guaranteed lenders" Then there is the low lifes of business like Loan Tree Advance who obviously hides their fees because I need money I certainly would've never agreed to pay someone to do for me what I was already doing for myself. Low and behold, I got an email alert from my bank about overdraft charges that they were charging me on insufficient funds transaction. Of course I immediately contacted Lending Tree to dispute the charges only to get some non English speaking CSR from overseas whom I could barely understand that continually gave me the run around throughout the whole conversation. I am going to dispute the charges with my bank and let them handle it for me. What a horribly scandalous way to run a business. Its no wonder they outsource their CSR work overseas...in today's economy where it is affecting every american... don't think they'd get many people to work for them anyway.
