This company is such a scam I want to be sure no one else makes the mistake I did. I have never before filed a complaint on a company, but this time I am making an exception. On 4/07 I paid for a 14 day trial of Dermapure, which cost only shipping (so I thought it was a pretty good deal). It was 4-5 days before I even received it which does not give you 14 days to decide if you like it or not. On 4/22 I cancelled and was sent an e-mail confirming my cancellation of the product. On 4/24 I was charged the full 79.84 for the product. Speaking with a supervisor, I was told I was one day too late to cancel so I was charged the full price, but didn't have to worry about receiving any more. Had I known how expensive the product was in the first place, I would never even have ordered the trial. My mistake - always know what you will be paying in the long run. They just kept asking me if I had read the terms and conditions, which I did but apparently didn't understand. I spoke with 3 individuals, all of whom were obviously repeating with the same responses (scripted), like speaking with a robot,not a real person. This company is about subtle deceit and doesn't really care about the customer.
Please . . . if you take the time to read the complaints on this company, you will hopefully make the wise decision and not order through them when there are really good, honest companies out there with even better and less expensive products. I'm not expecting anything back on this loss, but certainly have learned a lesson from it. If you don't know anything about a company/product, always check it out for scams and complaints before ordering. There are always people who will complain with little reason, but I am not one of those people and, to me, the integrity of a company is of major importance.
