I was contacted by a representative of Vendors Choice Merchant Systems aka Vendors Choice Merchant Services on 05/07/2012. Mr Bruce told me that I would be selling credits card processors and processing to their clients at Vendors Choice Services at a reduced rate for processing at a rate of approximately 1/1/2% to 2%. I was not to be charged the $495.00 until I made my first sale. I was told I would be getting my training packet from the in 3 to 5 business days. My trainer was to call me shortly thereafter. I asked him what my total investment would be and he told me $495.00. When I looked them up on the Scam Book report under VCMerchant Systems, I found nothing negative. Then I looked them up under VC or Vendors Choice Merchant Services and I found all kinds of scams that were going on against their clients. I did not want to be involved with people who were scamming their clients & I didn't want to be part of that scam. So I called and cancelled my account. My authorization number that they assigned me was 030172. They returned my $495.00 on 05/11/2012. Then on 05/30/2012, they charged me another $495.00 which I did not authorize. All of this was done via telephone. I don't have a contract even supporting that I was to work for them. I have tried to call and call but no one will answer the phone. I have 3 numbers that I was given in order to get in touch with them, 866-288-9131 x3290, 866-518-5796 x3290 and the 3rd number that they called from is 623-321-4356. If I call the first two numbers there is a canned voice which says that no one is available at x3290. The 3rd number when called has another canned voice and it says which extension do you wish to speak to. I tried keying in and saying 3290 but that was an invalid response. There was no other way to get through, like a receptionist or anything. I cannot afford to lose $495. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I was searching for work from home opportunites and I guess somone sold them my number. I am going to contact the Attorney Generals Office in the state of Arizona, Colorado and Illinois. They have also been linked to Texas and Wyoming according to other reports and their website lists a Wyoming as a base and the 800 numbers there do not work either. Thank you for your help in this matter. These people are not only doing false advertising but they are committing fraud.
