I received a letter stating my request has been approved to receive FREE money from them...as long as I include my signature, phone number, and the money to send to them. THIS IS A SCAM...which I already knew. This is how Identity Theft can begin. The 'signature' of the 'Award NotificationPpresident' is James Sl. Williams, Sr. (the same as trying to find 'john doe'...it's a widely used name.) The phone number is a 24 hour recording, not a live person. The address is a P.O. Box, not a physical address. No website for this company. There is NOTHING to track them down.
I found it ironic that this came just a few days after I renewed my federal aid application for college. So I called the application company with my concerns. Scammers are sneaky and intelligent. The application company stated they will look into this. So if you have filed for federal aid and received one of these letters a few days later, please call the federal aid company and inform them. (I am NOT placing any blame or liability on them - they were also concerned about this)
Please, do others a favor and file a complaint against this company with the Better Business Bureau in Seattle, WA and the Washington State Attorney General's Office. Send them a copy of the letter you recieved and if you had applied for ANY grants online. Also, contact the Sumas, WA post office to inform them. The letter is postmarked from Everett, WA.

- I sent $49.95 for a $10,000 dollar grant.But instead of cash Igot a business cash grant certificate.They sent me flyers along with it saying that I will make my money by sending out these flyers.They even let you buy there consumer list of there supposally there cliets that already ordered from these flyers.So I sent another $40 for the list on 09/08/2012 and have not yet recieved it.daisyduke
