I was offered a book "shockwave" for 4.99, I bought it for a friend I thought would like it. I've just seen my bank statement an d I was charged 99.00 for it. I am aware that other offers were twisted into this offer but I also requested I be canceled from those about a week after I ordered the book as I have no real interest in the subject of investing, banking or whatever else. The book was the only item I expected to be charged for and that was for the price of 4.99. How they got me on this one I'll never figure but I'd really appreciate my 99.00 back , they can even have their book back it isn't worth 4.99 much less 99.00 !! Any help you can give is greatly appreciated as this has put my bank account into a total mess and I have also been charged overdraft charges at 29.00 twice now due to the fact my bills bounced from not enough funds due to the big difference between 4.99 and 99.00.
