My mother had to sign for a certified letter from Liquidation Exchange, P. O. Box 220, Hackensack, NJ 07602-0220. I'd like to be able to include a copy here, if there's an opportunity to provide images.

The letter SEEMS to say that she has won a prize and implies strongly that it amounts to a large amount of cash. A careful, critical reading, however, especially of the back of the page, shows that what she has won is the "right to receive" a digital print ("signed giclee") supposedly worth $600.

My mother was fooled and eager to send off the requested $163.90, so she could receive what she was sure was a $600 cash prize. Fortunately, she was wise enough to show it to me first.

Since I could learn nothing about this "company" on the Internet -- no phone number, no web site, no references to this kind of letter -- I am guessing this is an outfit that disappears and changes its name whenever it is pursued. Still, it might be helpful to consumers to be able to see this letter and to know how it operates.
