I was told that i was approved for a loan with Alexa Financial, and just needed to pay for the Payment Protection Insurance. So i did. They requested it be paid for with a greendot moneypak, so i complied. They took the money off the card. I never got the loan, and GreenDot will not get me my money back. Th company seems to have vanished.

- Same thing has happened to me. Kept getting re-assured that a refund was on the way but nothing and eventually lost contact with them. Police said they couldn't do anything and that it is a civil matter. I filed a complain with BBB as well.
