First of all, I found this company at www.senior-marketing.com. On their website, they offer a service of making preset appointments. The cost for the 10 preset Final Expense Life Insurance appointments were $35/appt., so my total cost for the service was $350.00. I called them directly numerous times before ordering to confirm that they indeed will make the appointments and that I just show up for the set time. The person’s name whom I asked questions to was Jennifer Lawrence. She assured me that the appointments will be made according to my schedule. So, since she answered all my questions, I decided to order the service.

Jennifer Lawrence sent me to another website to get the order form and it is www.elifeleads.com. I filled out the form and mailed it along with a check for $350.00 on April 23, 2012. I received a call a week later from Jennifer to confirm my schedule and was told that I would received the appointment information thru email the night before the appointment which provided the name, address, phone, and time that the appointment was set. Also, I was told not to call the person and to just show up. My first appointment began on May 14, 2012. I showed up and knocked on the door, and was told that no appointment was set and that they just answered a few survey questions.

The disappointing thing about this is that every one of the 10 appointments were not even set appointments, just a telemarketer doing a survey over the phone. Everyday I sent in the Appointment Feedback Report Form that they requested if there was a problem. I explained that the appointments that they promised were not actual appointments and that they needed to correct this. In short, they did not make it right. This is false advertising because Senior Marketing did not deliver the service that I purchased.

I wrote a complaint to the Texas BBB, MS Insurance Dept., and one of the Senators in Texas explaining the scam. These people need to be stopped.
