A woman called denise Lynch with email [email protected] advertises an apartment in silver lake, very cheap with free rent incentives, acting like is a mom in california, when she is actually located in Ohio. The apartment she advertises is for $795 located in Sunset and Hyperion a very hip area of LA. She makes you fill up a prequal app online, they ask for your credit card # and social security. I lost 2 dollars and realized it was an scam when I researched her IP address 8.29.130.243 located in OHIO. Watch out everyone! Frbomail has a lot of scam alerts anyways.

This happened to me as well - on 6/12 by [email protected]. Same exact studio that you have posted pics of above. Literally the same EXACT scenario, the only difference is that this apartment claimed to be in NJ. I did what you did - searched "her" IP address and found it to be from Ohio. I feel absolutely sick to my stomach and will be contacting authorities. I made a posting on here as well. ALSO, i was charged $2.00 as well - bc when i first go the "error" i filled out another. You MUSH call each company that you did the pre-qual with and cancel each "Free" membership - because they will charge you between $30 - $40 monthly after the 7 day or one month trial. It's in the fine print. I called each and canceled both. They were persistent on me keeping the accounts and offering me all types of discounts, i stayed firm and said NO, cancel them now. And they did. I plan on switching bank accounts, too. Never can be too careful...

- Yep, I applied for the Silver Lake apt. and signed up for the $2 credit fee. Be sure you cancel with Score Sense or they will start charging you monthly fees for their service. I knew it was too good to be true.
