I was sent an email from Confirio stating that i had won a lottery online, along with 15 other people for $650,000. I, of course, didn't believe it and complained to the supervisor of this person. He got back with me the same day saying that he had verified it and gave me the number to send to their disbursement office. (John Smith aka smithjohn66@ gmail.com. A Terry White @gmail.com contacted me today (06/12) to inform me they would send the check as soon as I paid their bank in the United Kingdom almost $1,000 in courier fees. I knew that this was a scam, but I am concerned about the other people who received this email and actually sent the money. (Personal Content Removed). I have kept these emails if you or anyone else has any use for them. Kathy Burns

- I received the same email and knew it was a scam from the get go and the profiles are fake at least some of them and I have been ask for money by 2 different men and I just stopped all contact with them....

Confirio blocks all messages about lotteries. We state right on our safety page that anyone talking about a lottery is a scammer and you should not respond to them:
