Complaint 124408 Details

In March $9.99 was added to my telus bill (did not notice it). In April $49.99 was added onto my telus bill, phoned to inquire about it and was informed that Voxtel had accessed the account and placed charges onto the bill for their service. In March I had entered a contest online that said I had won and that they needed my name and phone number and that I needed to enter a pin number (which they gave to me) to get the prize. This information gave them authorization to bill my account. Telus told me that I had to contact them with my complaint which I did and they gave me back a credit of 2 payments of $9.99. My May bill is now charged with 39.95 I have just spent 40 minutes on the phone with Telus and Voxtel (in tele conferencing). Voxtel has said that it is a scam and that I have to contact them again to try and get the remainder of my monies back. Here's a warning to all out there, NEVER give out your name or phone number to anything online. Wish me luck they still have $79.91 of my monies
