Like others I responded to a pop up box offering a 14 day FREE TRIAL de - tox. I paid the requested £2.95 postage to receive Slimvida and Colon Flow.I then forgot all about it as I was travelling to my Villa in Tenerife. When I got back a month later the pills had arrived. I did not open them and put them to one side as a detox at the time was inappropriate knowing my forethcoming engagements. Today I received my bank statement and 2 payments for £69.95 had been deducted. I contacted the bank and they told me what the payments were for. I then read the paperwork with the pills and to my horror discovered what had happened. I called the company and explained my circumstances but they did not want to know and for their defence they said their terms and conditions are on their website. I have never even been on their website. I responded to a pop up box offering a FREE TRIAL and agreed to pay for postage only. The whole thing is a con. As for taking further payment each month I have of course cancelled and their operator gave me two cancellation reference numbers, his name and agent ID number. I am of course sceptical this will be the end of it as he was unable to give me either an office address or an email address so that I could confirm our conversation in writing. Without this being given a couple of cancellation numbers is pretty worthless if they take the money again anyway. The operator was in New York and said that the return adress given in the UK is just a distribution warehouse ? Why these people can get away with these scams is beyond me. Its nothing much short of theft.
