Magnetron Out May 2011 - According Frigidaire National Service 'Support' Not
under Warranty..No help..
New Magnetron will cost $203
Service Call $75 at home $35 if I bring to store..
Total spent for Frigidaire Microwave that is less than 4 years old $518..
Old Sears lasted 20 years - no service problems..
New GE @ WalMart 1100 W $112.00
My suggestion..Frigidaire replaces Magnetron n/c and provides service n/c..
If not cut... my loses buy GE to replace less than 4 year old Frigidaire..

Thanks for your prompt reply.. I am sure that inwardly you would agree that
paying over $500 for a microwave that is less than 4 years old is not very
customer oriented..and what are telling me is that I should have purchased the
extended warranty because Frigidaire magnetrons are subject to repeated
failure..3 magnetrons within 4 years is not a "reasonable amount of time".. I
think that nay reasonable person would agree with that. I am also certain you
have changed magnetron venders..or should..
