I had signed up for a 30 day free trail for AOL computer check up and advised to cancel the trail before 30 days to avoid my account being charged. Before the 30 day period had elapsed, i cancelled the trail and confirmation was sent to me by email for cancellation. To my surprise, my account was still charged 40 pounds and when i called to ask why, i was told it was for the Mcafee product that came with the check up. I denied signing up for it and ask whether if i had stayed on , was i going to be charged for both? which they failed to clearly answer. I am furious with this outcome as AOL should be a respectable brand name.
