I just have to say "thank you" to/for ScamBook!! I ordered a pair of shoes today that I couldn't find anyplace else. Something just seemed off, but I was so happy to find the shoes that I ordered them. I thought that not getting a confirmation was odd and it's bothered me for hours!! After reading this complaint board and a blog post by someone that had been scammed as well, I went in to check out my PayPal. It was listed as "unclaimed", so I canceled my transaction.
I certainly hope that's the end of it for me. I'm sorry for all the others that have lost money to this scam artist though. I hope that somehow everyone receives their money back and there's some sort of legal case that can be brought against Rios Shoes. I know that from now on, I'll be checking ScamBook to make sure that a site that I use is legit!!
