On 12/20/2006 we emailed the above address, Regarding: for sale a (Maltese-, named "Stiga"), 12weeks old for $399 USD-shipping included. We were new using Puppyfind & should've done some checking on above (so-called Priest), but didn't. After several emails (back-&-forth) fm him to us, we decided to buy said puppy. We sent a money-gram for $424 on 12/20/06, immediately following we get another email, & then another fm Rev Morris stating he needed additional funds to ship the dog thru customs. It was excuse after another excuse, each time needing more money to get the puppy shipped. He played on us & our hearts, thinking "the poor animal must be sufferring)", home alone, while Rev Morris was working. NOTE: lst he was in the US, but leaving for Nigeria to take on a new priest hood job. He needed more funds, to cover the shipping and quarantee of the dog. So, we sent another $318 on 12/20/06 via money-gram.
Then here come more emails fm above address, he's now in Nigeria and still needs more funds to ship the dog. Again, thinking this has to be true, and problems w/customs-we sent another (2) money-gram's which should've covered everything fm what Rev Morris told us. NOTE: I have copies of every email & copies of all money-grams sent, if you need copies I can send them to you. After "no" puppy coming & just more emails for more monies, I emailed him back & said, "No more money-you've scammed us & we fell for it".
This is a short version as to what happened-yes, it would be nice to get the money back, but don't want anyone to get hooked like we did.
Lastly, we even called overseas, (tel# 009-802-346-345-3701), they even verified, "Yes, we have a Rev Morris working here", so in-turn thought all was up and up, but it was a complete Scam.
