On June 24,2011 I've subscribed to John Thomas 90-Day risk free 100% money back "GUARANTEE" Coaching & Trading program. After 26 days I've received first trade alert recommendation on 07/20/11
to buy (SPY) August $133 calls @2.48, in few days trade lost 100% value. Next day; buy(TBT)@33.24 this trade went down 21% in the next couple of days. On 07/25/11; buy (CAT)@106.20 in few days this one lost 15%. In John Thomas words: "how we all got this so horribly wrong". At that point, I asked to cancel my 90 Day risk-free membership and I received the following message:"I apologize, what is it that is not working out for you with this subscription? I can cancel this for you I will not be able to issue you a refund based on guarantee". I've argued that the "GUARANTEE" doesn't restrict right to cancel within 90 days time frame. As the title indicate: guarantees satisfaction to subscribers and not the right to refuse refund in case of failure of John Thomas to perform within reasonable margin of error. I was told, that I'll have to wait 90 days and provide prove of actual placing trades or paper trades. I don't trust them now, I believe they selling a faulty product and I'm requesting refund now.
