Contacted by Legacy Holding Group about getting me a home mortgage modification. They promiced a lower interest rate, reduce principal, reduced payments, fixed interest rate of 3.5%.
All of this would happen if I paid $3160 up front. Well, like an idiot, I paid the money over a two month period. Luckly, I found out in time about the scam and contacted my bank on July 23 and they were able to go back 60 days and repute the last 3 payments and I got that money back but Im still out $1500 and I know thats not as much as some people lost.
I regestered a complaint with AZ BBB and Legacy told BBB that were still working with my bank for the modification which was a lie.
I then filed a complaint with the AZ Atty. General and they called me today to let me know they are trying to find the Head Office. They said it is illegal for someone to offer you a loan modification other than your bank. They are still working on it and said they will let me know if they find out anything.

- Good luck to you. FYI, you're not going to find them in Arizona. They say they are in Chandler, AZ but their main office is in Irvine, CA. 5440 Trabuco Rd.
