Who are those people? They took 30 dollars out of my account, basically wrote themselves a check, which I have a picture of and we do not even have paper checks for this account. I'm on the phone with my bank right now and they've agreed to reverse the charges, the only problem is, that check overdrafted our account, so now I get to try to have that reversed as well.
Anyone knows what else I can do? The girl I just spoke to suggested that we close this account and open a new one, but the problem with that is that we get monthly transfers from another country, so re-setting that up would be a huge nightmare and my husband's paychecks are direct-deposited and then there's all the bills that come out of that account.
I am beyond furious with this, I'd like to know how they can get away with committing fraud and then the victim gets told that "it's not really fraud if they got your information somehow."
This whole thing has cost us 64 dollars so far.

Seeing as this scam appears to have a LOT of victims, I have just filed a complaint against the company with the Better Business Bureau and I urge anyone else who has been scammed by those thieves to do the same, something has to be done, I only spent 10 minutes doing research to see if this had happened to anyone else and I've seen one too many posts made by other victims to just let this go.
I will update this again if I hear anything. -
