A while back I was online looking at government grants. I had given up on it.
It had been a while, then suddenly, out of the blue on 5/25/12 a man with a forgien accent called (Mike James; Licence employee # 169320) and asked for me. He said that I was elegiable to recieve a government grant. He told me that the regular price was $59.95, but "today" I could get it for only $3.87 for the online membership fee. I asked (I think four or five times, & throughout the conversation) if that would be the ONLY charge. Each time he reassured me that it was a one time fee.
He told me that I would recieve an e-mail & that it had step by step instructions on what to do, but that if I had any questions that I could call back and someone would help me. I thought that for $3.87 I couldn't go wrong.
I checked my e-mail and sure enough there it was. I opened the link and it was a website like I had seen before. I didn't think nothing of it at first and closed it and figured that I could go back to it tomorrow.
This morning I got on my computer to check my bank account and there was a charge that did not look familuar. It was for $19.95. So I started a search on the business name and finally ended up here, and found out that I had been scammed and that I could do something about it.
