Please beware of this company if you are looking for lawn service!! I hired this service, as the last lawn service I had moved and I needed a new lawn service fast. They came out to cut my grass the 1st month, no problem.

In June 2010, they called to let me know they would be out the next day so that I could pay them for the month. They showed up and told us that day that we were being charged more because they have to drive 45 miles to our house, as the rest of the lawns they service are in their area. I didn't know this, but it didn't matter as long as they came out. They collected $150 from me to pay for the month in advance, and I never saw them again! Two weeks went by, and nothing. I called and was told he was breaking up with his wife and would pay me back in a few weeks. A few weeks went by, and I called and asked for the money back, was told it was sent out already. Now they only live 1 county away. Nothing ever came in the mail. I tried to contact this company, my husband tried, and finally the guy calls back first telling him he mailed the refund back and it must be lost in the mail. Then he asks how much he owes us....?? My husband asked him how much he sent us, if he is not sure what our refund is, and he cursed him out and HUNG UP. It has been 2 months of nightmares with this man!

I don't know what else to do. I had to pay another lawn man again in June to cut my grass, and he is more expensive. We are a family of 6, my husband is disabled and I was laid off from my job and now I only work part time. We have 4 kids, and we had to take $160 from our rent for the new lawn man!!!

Velez Services in Leesburg, Florida or more specific Lady Lake, Florida is unreliable, unprofessional, and has terrible ethics and customer service. Never use them if you don't want to be ripped off! I have contacted the BBB......Here's hoping something comes out of that. :-(
