In March i was looking for some part time work for extra cash. I found on Kijiji a link to be a mystery shopper. I work with McDonald's and we have mystery shoppers that work for us, so i thought it was legit. I applied online and got a check with instructions at the beginning of April. I searched their information online and thinking it was a real company i deposited the check on April 24th. When i deposited the check in Bayer's Lake at Scotia bank i gave them all papers that were sent to me. If they looked at it and said it was no good or suspicious i would have been fine and walked away. The girl showed it to her manager to be cleared and she did. Then on the 25th it cleared and i was going to proceed with what the paper had stated. Good thing i didn't because on the 27th, the check was taken back being found to be a "FRAUDULENT ITEM." There for i was down money in my account that i wouldn't of spent if i had not had this check. My rent bounced because my account was put on hold. Since then i have received another check. Which of course i am not depositing.
