Gave information to join a webinar I made the mistake of calling before checking out the number. The number was a 470 prefix. When I did a google search the number had asian symbols behind it. The webinar didn't go through. The web address they provided did not work. When I made the call I was told through a recording that the webinar would start in a few minutes. I waited maybe 10 mins. at the most and hung up. I heard clicking sounds the time I was on hold. I called my phone provider right away. They said unless I called the country code that the call did not go through. My concern is that the scammers who ever they are now has my number to call whereever. My carrier Bright House said that unless I gave cc info. they cannot charge calls to my number. I did not since I never talked to any one still very concerned though.
