Complaint 118281 Details

I was checking on my mother's checking account and saw a check withdrawal for $448.74 that didn't look familiar. It was an electronic check made out to Club Billing for SMG with a phone number. When I called the number I was told that my mother had signed up for medical discounts and that was the charge she authorized. My mother is 83 years old and has no memory of this call. She of course had given them her bank information over the phone even though she has been warned not to do this. This story sadly is very familiar to others I am reading on your site!
