I responded to an adoption ad placed by a person who calls himself Dr. Cody Crawford, concerning a 12 week old female English Bulldog puppy (named Paris) who he says is available for a FREE adoption. Dr. Cody Crawford informed me after several email conversations that he now lives in Madrid Spain and for a fee of $100.00 to cover transfer of ownership papers and delivery costs I could adopt this puppy. At the same time I was communicating with Dr. Cody I also came across numerous website warnings of a scam artist by the name of Dr. Wesley who advertised the very same ad, and even the name of the puppy was the same. Unfortunately, he had scammed a few people out of money. BE AWARE that this jerk is using different names but the story is always the same. He claims to be a man of the church too, that he's working for the Mission in Madrid Spain - NOT TRUE. His last email address used to contact me is: [email protected]

- As of 8/30/2012 this person is still doing this scam. i found his post on backpage.com for the same puppy named paris he said i could adopt and then i was looking on facebook and googled dr cody crawford and found this. i will not be responding to anymore of his emails. thanks for the heads up. !!! well done scambook!!
