Over the last several weeks I keep getting phone calls from a number that shows up as "unknown". Normally I just hit the ignore button but lately my wife has insisted that I answer it or that she would. So I do and this man with an obvious Indian/Pakistani accent named Brian Smith (it's possible LOL) tells me I am approved for some $1500 loan that I don't even remember applying for. Mr "Smith" then informs me that they don't do direct deposit because they do not deal with banks for a lame reason that I don't recall. In order to receive this loan I need to give them a $200 refundable deposit and then they will give it back when I pick up my funds from Western Union for a total of $1700. I am supposed to call him in the morning @ (206) 201-2356 when I am outside the Western Union and he will finish walking me through the process of this fake loan. Too bad the authorities have not figured out this phone number is tied to some shady, if not illegal activities.
