Ok I don't even know what is going on!
I checked my account today and found out
"Card Purchase
CHINA
AMOUNT IN CNY 86.91 EXCH RATE 9.787 REF xxxxxxx" BCC INCLUDING COMMISSION £0.26"
(I changed the number to x for reasons)
was placed on my card at 17 May 2012. £8.88 was taken.
I checked all my history to see the things I've done on that date, no orders, nothing downloaded no suspicions!

Although I did place an order for a dvd on this site http://www.dvdfind.co.uk/.
The site does look legit, didn't receive any confirmation mail about my order placed, as I placed the item on 15 May 2012. The site still says Processing even now
Still no word from the site yet, I've just emailed the owner now.


This is an online transaction and doesn't show up as card physical payment.

i will investigate some more and contact my bank.
If I can't find any evidence then it will have to be DvDFind. co. uk.
The site is a .co.uk domain, although the site says it's an Hong Kong registered company.

Scam Adviser (http://www.scamadviser.com/index.php?page=site-result.php&parameter=dvdfind.co.uk) suggested the site could be unsafe.
The same email for the owner of the site also has other site such as
http://www.audvdsale.com/
http://www.trxtrainersale.com
although google still has a cache displaying the email, however on the site itself the scammer seem to have added a different email under [email protected]

Who-Is- is displaying the details of the site located in UK. While Alexis points the site as in U.S.

UPDATE:
I can confirm the site dvdfind is the scam site. There's no information on their privacy policy or condition of use.



Everyone should contact their bank, and give reference number/text under the Description so the Bank can trace how and who you spend the money too.
