I contacted the extended warranty co. Guardsman to fix the tear in our leather sectional we purchased from Bassett Furniture back in 2009. I filled out all of the forms they asked of me. I had to call to follow-up after I hadn't heard from them in 6 weeks. Guardsman rep. explained it was a manufacturing defect and to contact Bassett to fix the problem. I called Bassett and spoke with our sales rep. who then got us intouch with her customer service manager. The customer service manager told me she would help us out and send her the pictures of the furniture. I emailed her pictures of the leather sectional where the problem started and ended. After 2 months I never heard back from her so I called her and she in turn sent me back to Guardsman to have them fix it explaining Bassett's store policy to me. We purchased the extended warranty so we wouldn't have issues like this but after spending $4,546.97 no one is taking responibility for fixing our furniture.
