Just like the other reports, I was called to "confirm my cancellation of my online advertising", which I did not know about and had never authorized. If I didn't get a cancellation number, my advertising would automatically renew at the $599.00 annual rate. I refused to get a cancellation number for something that I never ordered as I felt that would confirm that I did order the advertising. I hung up on them several times, and they called me back 6 or 7 times today with the same scripted speil. I asked repeatedly for them to fax me a copy of my supposed contract showing my signature, which they claimed they would mail, after I got the cancellation number. Of course it would be sent with my invoice for $599.00. It was a continual round of transferred phone calls from one agent to another, then the supervisor, then a manager, and the "quality control" people who gave out the cancellation numbers. When I told the quality control person that I didn't know this company and had not authorized any advertising, they would transfer me back to an agent, who again asked for the cancellation number. And there it would start all over agin. If I hung up on them, they would call me back because they were trying to "help me cancel my advertising".
Several times I told them I knew this was a scam or fraudulent, and that I would report them. They answered that the calls were recorded for them by the Better Business Bureau! With their last call, they said my time to cancel had expired and that my advertising will continue, and that I will owe $599.00 for last year, and $599.00 for this coming year.

I have reported them to the BBB, the Texas Attorney General's office and to the Federal Treade Commission. If I receive an invoice, I will contact the three credit reporting agencies, and file a protest.
