My son, Calum Ralph Anson, discovered that £49.99 ($80.10 USD) had been taken out of his bank account by the above company. He had made no application to that company nor did he know the company so he complained to his bank, Halifax BOS, who to their credit reversed the transaction. However, they reinstated the transaction once again when someone signing themselves Matthew Wilson, Customer Service Team, submitted an invoice supported by my son's full bank account details, full details of his Debit Card, his email address, and his mobile number, claiming to refer to an Internet transaction; described as a "Loan Finding Fee". Curiously they included his girlfriend's phone number not ours yet he lives with us and the data supporting their claim for payment gives our correct address. My son has had no prior contact with this company either under it's Registered Company Name: Business Fish Ltd or it's trading style: My Loan Broker, has made no application to them, has not authorised them to access his bank account, nor to find a loan for him. He has emailed them without reply and the number given in their copy correspondence submitted to his bank, 0844 8700 961, elicits the response "the number you have dialled has not been recognised"! This is all most unsatisfactory and I have to say, as an ex-policeman, this all smacks of very dubious business practice and tantamount to fraud!
