Complaint 113949 Details

Went on a website advertising Mystique Anti-aging Cream free trial only pay P&P of £2.49 and "guided" to trial a second product PuraSilk (by Natural Health Network) same cost. Was given 14 days from date of order to test, and return at least half the products in the original containers in order not to be sent automatically 1 of each product (ie 2 products) per month and be charged per month! (Total would have been almost £150.00 per month!!). I obviously decided to return the products as quickly as possible to avoid this situation. I was given an RMA No. and sent the products back together in the same Jiffy Bag to MystiqueLab with their printed label and the RMA No. given.

Admittedly Mystique have in fact adhered to the "rules" and have only taken the P&P cost. This I accept as part of my deal with them. I asked them to confirm that no further more product would be sent and no more monies would be taken and they did confirm this. So I didn't feel that I had to do anything more.

Alas, I did not check my bank statement until the evening of 8 May 2012 when I was dismayed to find that Purasilk Purasilk had deducted £74.95 on 11 April 2012 (because they were assuming I had not returned half the product). The next day I went into my bank to stop any further payments being taken. Unfortunately I was told that a second payment (£69.90) had already gone out on 9 May 2012! The matter is now being investigated by my bank and I have written a comment on the website "canyoutrustthem". I now need to close my account, transfer all my normal direct debits and advise other organisations of new account details (a huge and inconvenient task - I have had this account since 1978!).

I have entered this complaint under Mystique Lab because I believe they are the front for Natural Health Network/PuraSilk and many other products, perhaps many more companies all under the auspices of Mystique.

I have seen other comments from ladies who have been scammed by these companies, so I am sure they must be working in tandem.

Certainly the whole thing stinks.



Please try to help us all - as a group, hopefully we can save others from these scammers - its like a cancer taking hold.
