bodyHello my name is Shamelia Whittaker. I am a 32 year old single mother of three. I live in Spring HIll, Fl. My phone number is (Personal Information Removed) Here is my complaint: I /had transmission problems with my car and after calling around for the right price I found this transmission shop in New Port Richey, FL called "Mild to Wild" transmission. 4049D Grand Blvd.....(727) 849-8720. Manager name is Fred....Owner name is Ray. I took my van (98 Chrysler Town and Country LXI) to them for them to check out the transmission. They informed me that the trannsmission needed to be rebuilt. So I told them go ahead and fix the car. Since then I have taken my car back to them a total of 5 times. Everytime i take it back they come up with a new problem. Throughout the 5 times my transmission still was not working right. Due to the lack of transportation I lost two clients from the agency I work for. Eventually the agency had to let me go. I am a single mother and I have no income. I have given back my van because again it wouldn't go in drive and they found a whole new problem once again. I don't know what else to do. Please...Can you help me? The first time I took my van the name of the shop was called Mild to Wild Transmission they went as far as to change the name to 1st Choice Transmission. The other t5hings they found wrong with my car was the water pump which I let them fix and the radiator. This last time was the solenoid pack.....Fred(Manager) called me and said that they were wrong......they needed to fix the clutch. I towed my van there on 8/2/2011 and got it back on 8/5/2011 and on the way home my van broke down. They did not fix my van. The same problem I had with it then I have now! I need help with getting my money back and finding a good place to get it fixed correctly. CONTINUED COMPLAINT: I ended up taking my car back to Mild and Wild for further repair due to the fact that I am under warranty and have no other means to get it fixed...They took it on 8/09/2011 and it was supposed to be ready on 8/12/2011. I made them bring it to me due to the fact that everytime I go get it I do not make it home,,,,,it ALWAYS breaks down. They could not even make it to me! They had to turn around claiming that the transmission was over heating! CAN YOU BELIEVE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO MILD TO WILD/1ST CHOICE TRANSMISSION TO BE FIXED! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!!!
