Hi everyone. Thanks for sending your comments about this Emily lady from Canada. Seems like she keeps changing her last name because now she is using the last name Bryant. I was about to fall for this scam but this website saved my life. I was going to buy an iPad 3 for my brother and saw her ad on craigslist. it was brand new, she sent me pics of the box and everything. When I asked her why does she sell it such a low price, she said because she won't use it. Sound familiar? Then I got this e-mail from myparceldelivery and the report they send looks so legit it is impossible to not to fall for it. We realized the company has nothing to do with Canada, and we need to send the money to someone in UK. Well, in the end we are not going to buy it, and now she keeps asking for when we will send the money. My brother lives in UK, very close to that person's address (the one that we are supposed to send the money) and he asked her to let that person know he will pay it cash and face to face. We are waiting for her answer, haha :) just playing with her since she deserved it!! I wish there was a way to report this to the police.

  • WohWoh!! Thanks a ton for all those who have posted about this. This helped me today from losing 300$. I saw an Ad for 3D LED 55" Sony TV -2 months old and selling it for mere 300$ whose market price is close to 2000$. Initially i thought this is a steal and i was jumping with joy for finding such a great offer. I kept asking why she wants to sell this TV in 2 months for such a price and she never answered that.. and that "SHE" is none other than Emily but the last name is partridge. Then she sent me an email 100% similarly drafted as others had posted. ** I won't be back home soon ** Vancouver- Canada ** http://www.candepots-myparceldelivery.net/en_language.internet.transactions/third.party.html
** blah blah!! i was so mesmerized looking at the candepot* website and then i started thinking this is too good to be true. So i started googling about the site and i landed here. Wow!! i was just about to commit to this lady and may be i would have even paid 300$ tomorrow. Hats off to the guys who had posted this info here. I now understand how good it is to post about spams in sites like these; if this has helped me today then this is sure to help many in the days to come.

    Thanks for saving my money!!!
    Mohan.

  • Hi, I'm the CEO of myparceldelivery.com - a legitimate and well known parcel delivery site in the UK.
Recently, some people have been running a scam via Gumtree and craigslist - creating websites such as:
    http://www.vanc-myparceldelivery.net/en_language.internet.transactions/index.html
    http:// us-myparceldelivery.net
(and a number of other extensions)
With the intention of defrauding customers by pretending to sell iPads and requiring payment via Western Union.
Our company - myParcelDelivery.com - is in NO WAY related to these scam websites with various prefixes.
MyParcelDelivery.com is a UK based courier comparison site and we do not sell ANY physical products or work with agents selling or arranging shipments of such products through our courier services. As a further note, we do NOT accept any form of payment through Western Union to a specific person. All payments on our website are through Paypal or recognized Credit / Debit cards.
As soon as we have become aware of any such sites adverting through Craiglist, Gumtree or other such sites, we have immediately contacted the company hosting the fraudulent site and provided evidence to prove that people are illegally exploiting our branding and content and asked them to remove the offending website. To date, we have closed over 10 of these domains.

We want to protect consumers from these scammers who are defrauding people and also tarnishing our good name by creating these fake sites. If anyone comes across any further sites of this nature, please contact us via http://www.myparceldelivery.com/contactus.aspx and we will put all our efforts into shutting down these fraudulent sites.

    Regards,

    Paul Haydock
    CEO, myParcelDelivery.com
