I recieved a similar letter as all other victims:
"Dear Mr./Mrs. Jacqueline Robinson-Perry,
On 17 of Feb 2011 you had become a victim of activity, when you were purchased computer program that was supposed to cure your computer. This program was installed on your computer in order to gather your personal
information."
And like all other victims, it did include all of my correct personal/credit card information. When I replied to the email for restitution, I did not recieve a bounce-back/delivery failure but I immediately cancelled my credit card.
What I find interesting about the letter, is that you are encouraged to contact the authorities:
"Also, please enclose the copy of this letter with your complaint to the law enforcement. You can complain to the law enforcement agency via email."
I'd be interested in finding out how many of us will actually receive restitution.
