Hi, I'm a student of University of Waterloo, Canada.
I recently purchased 1 iPad from the above site for 450$.
The company called me and said that there was a problem with the shipment and instead of sending me 1 iPad they sent 20 so they had to block the order.
The "CEO" of the company told me that I have to transfer 3000$ as a security fees as when I receive the package of 20 ipads, I just take 1 and return the rest. They company people were very sweet and helping. They helped me all this while to transfer the money. They even found Western union money transfer and Money gram tranfer locations near my office and residence!
All this seemed so fishy but I dont know why I kept obey to them, it was basically because They were giving me a very good deal..
for a 32gb+3g iPad.
I don't know why I did that? I feel So stupid now!

So After that I told them that I'm a student and that I can't afford this much, so they told me that i can tranfer 1200$
This is all I had in my bank that time! And they gave me gurantee that my money will be given back, so I don't need to worry.
I feel so dumb and stupid I don't know why I did this. all my money is gone now!!
I don't know what am I going to do.
The send transaction that I had to do was in NIGERIA!!!
I should have thought about it thenn! but till then they told me because it was their fault for the shipment problem, they will give me One more free Ipad.
So i thought that this is a very good deal indeed so I went and tranferred the money..
Till now I was talking on the phone with 1 guy named Joey Dalton.
I have his number +12104681386 He sounded like a Nigerian fellow too..
I should have thought about it then tooo! but I seriously don't know what was in my mind that time, it was just that I thought that I was going to get 2 ipads at the price of two!
I didn't even tell my family members about all this because I thought that they will be pissed at me for doing all this and wasting my time on such stupid offers.. I thought that once the deal is complete I will also get the money back so my parents will also not get pissed with me! I thought that everything will be fine as soon as I get my Ipad.
OH I feel so miserable rightnow! I don't know where to go!
I've given them my home address and the office address where I work as in intern for the summer!
I don't know what all they can do!!
This is very terrifying as my parents don't know about any of this! I don't know who to contact.. please help me!!

  • Same as what happened to me, but I didnt pay a security deposit the site that scam me is www.smartmobilesinc.com and until now none of my orders was ship, I almost go insane after they failed thrice to deliver my orders, its a lot you know from 3 iphones I orderd they said theres a fault in shipping and 10 iphones will be shipped...so stupid of them.
