I made a mistake of accepting and signing a contract with this company and paid the $1,799 fee they were asking. The service was to reduce the interest rate on my credit card and have a payment plan with the CC company. Was advised not to talk to the CC company so they can negotiate. Was told that once they talk to the company, the calls would stop. Prior to this, we were paying the CC company on time and over the minimum payment. We just wanted to reduce the interest rate to a more reasonable rate. Each time I called, she said it's being taken care of and it should be in their computer. In short, I now have to pay an extra $5000 in accumulated interest and my credit has taken a dive. Numerous calls to this company are not returned, phone continues to ring but no one picks up, or the answering machine answers. The girl handling my case is Laura. She is not to be trusted and has no concience or any of the people working for this company. I have reported this to the Attorney General of Florida, but if more people file a claim with them, perhaps they might act quicker and, hopefully, charge them with scam and fraud.
