I saw an ad for "Become a Bartender" on The Austin Chronicle's classified section and called the 800 number listed to get more information. I didn't get through on my first call, but received a call back from a man named "Ted" who immediately went into his pitch about the bartending certification process and how they link you up with businesses who need bartenders once you've completed the training. I'm the dummy who gave out my credit card information without a second thought. Upon completing the phone call I realized that I was not being smart and looked up the phone numbers I had called while simultaneously checking my bank statement. That's how I found this site. "Ted" told me the payment would take 1-4 days to process, but I saw $98.90 debited from my account minutes after I completed the call.
