I received a check for $2275.00 to cover taxes on $50,000.00 in winnings. The tax agent was Jessica Luna in Barcelona, Spain. My contact for information before cashing was Susane Johnson(1-438-993-2407.The name on the check was Enviromedia Buying Services in Austin, Tx. via BBVA Compass Bank. I decided that was too many agencies for me. Plus, IRS and State Revenue does not tax you until you actually receive money. Over the last two years, I've received several phone calls and checks asking for money upfront. My rule is if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. In these economic times, nobody give away something for nothing.

- Thank you very much for posting this complaint. It appears the checks from Enviromedia Buying Services, Inc. have appeared again! This one came via FedEx and I have never even heard of the company. The return address has the name of Patricia Fischetti with a Brooklyn, NY address. FedEx has the envelope originating in California. Then I came across your complaint which confirmed my initial thought of "SCAM". Thanks again and good job!
