I saw Eggies on TV & luckily did not order them.(I read the problems with on line ordering) I was in a drug store & saw them. I thought "Why not?". Here's 'Why NOT to buy' : Each Eggie has 4 small parts, to put together & CLEAN. On TV they don't tell you they MUST be oiled. Says NOT to use a spray, put on paper towel & coat. Apparently, I didn't use enough, they didn't JUST slide out!
It took 4 eggs to get it right to get the whole egg white into the Eggie. Egg white spilled all over counter & on outside of Eggie. Made a mess in the pot & hardened on the outside of Eggie. Hard to open & VERY hard to clean all those little parts! Then, the times they tell you to cook the eggs were too long, the were way over cooked. In many years of cooking I've never overcooked HB eggs! So ok, just use them for fancy deviled eggs, well they don't come out perfect to make nice deviled eggs, either. I was exhausted after cooking & cleaning with them! Does not save time! Now, where do I store all these little pieces? 24 pieces, gonna need a plastic container!
