My name is Lyle Davis and I'm from cape town. My girlfriend booked and online flight via Skysearcheronline and paid in a bank transfer. When I got to the airport SA Airways told me I'm not on there system so I went to British Airways and they told me the same thing. Followed up by Emirates Airways and once again not on there system. I was supposed to fly internationally and all my connecting flights didn't have my details. Emirates said that they have never done business with SkysearcherOnline before and the ground staff SAA said they never heard of them. I've emailed and am still waiting for a reply and so did my girlfriend, I've phoned their number+44 (0) 20-8133-6942 (UK) and+852-8191-3408 (Hong Kong) it is constantly engaged. I fear I've been conned. Is there anything I can do? Or can anybody help me?

  • Hey Lyle, (In from Cape Town too)

a week ago, I went to my bank in Bangkok - to pay a money transfer for the flight ticket I ordered with Skysearcheronline. I was quite desperate to book my tickets to Athens ASAP, because the flight was exceptionally cheap! For some reason my card was not working, and the bank staff was unable to charge the amount of $800 to my card. I was very upset about this, because this would mean I might lose my flight for that cheap price.(aparently only 4 seats left)
This was all a blessing in disguise.
My instincts told me to look deeper into this site, and a friend of mine confirmed that they are a SCAM. - especially because they ask you to wire money into their account, and they dont ask for any passport details.
I almost lost a lot of money using Skysearcheronline.
I think that all airlines should notify customers of this scam.
Sorry to say this, but I think your money is gone foor good.
Let us know if anything else happens.
    Lizelle
